I’ve always been very inspired by these hardy birds. They live the majority of their lives at sea, but come to nest on the cliffs of my home in Pembrokeshire, to lay eggs and raise their young. 
Their stiff winged flight is enchanting, and I have spent many hours at the clifftop watching them circle and circle, before coming in to land.
